Thinking of getting certified for an upcoming holiday, but don’t have the time to put into a regular diver course?

Now there’s a quick and easy program designed especially for you! This is your chance to slap on some fins, strap on a mask and experience an intense adventure in a short amount of time. Another option is the PADI Scuba Diver Course.

What will I do?

Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing pool dives and knowledge development sessions at your local dive centre at home and complete your training with the 4 open water dives with us at Pattaya Diving and Fishing dive centre here in Pattaya, Thailand.

Why PADI Open Water Referral Course?

The PADI Open Water Referral program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for holiday makers who don’t want to spend half their holiday in a classroom or sitting on the bottom of a pool.

As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the PADI Referral Course allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimising time constraints whilst on holiday.

What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a Scuba Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Referral Course program available.

What will I do?

You will need to complete 4 open water dives over a minimum of 2 days here with us at Pattaya Diving and Fishing dive centre in Pattaya, Thailand.

How long will it take?

PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. We usually complete the course over 2 days, but alternatives are available by special arrangement.

Is there a time limit?

Yes. You will need to complete the 4 open water dives within 12 months of finishing the knowledge development and confined water dives with your local dive centre at home.

Where can I go from here?

After completing the referral and 4 open water dives, you’ll want to continue your dive education and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification to explore more dive opportunities.
